About Us

CarVested, LLC was formed in October 2017 in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a byproduct of our own frustration with tight parking in crowded lots and garages.  We had to drive our old truck when we went out for dinner because we did not want to take a chance at damaging our Vette.  Plus, we could not use conventional, magnetized door protection devices with the fiberglass composite body.

Therefore, we had an idea!  We made the first CarVest (Gen-I) which worked as intended for our C5. However, it needed improvement.  So we started significant research and development, considering North Atlantic winters to Florida summer conditions, resulting in a significantly more sustainable product, Gen-II.  Gen‑II also led to a transition from wheel well snaps to easier, rubber coated hooks on the wheels, further extending the protection to the front and rear quarter panels. Further, we also found ourselves developing C4 model, and our first sales to friends.  Since the first generation, we have never been afraid to rest our CarVest against a paint job or even connect it to the body or wheels.  We are “car people,” so we understand.   However, the latest product (Gen-III) is definitely one we are proud of!

Gen-III is a simple design that is easy to remove from your trunk, unroll, and install on your driver and/or passenger door.  In addition, it is easy to uninstall, roll up, and put back in your trunk. (Take a look at Brandy on our website.)  

We use our own CarVests on our C5 when we take the car to a restaurant, allowing us to park closer to the entrance; however, we have C4, C5, C6, C7 and C8 editions now.  In fact, while you think you will look silly, people will come up to you (like we’ve had) and ask where they can get their own.  Pass the word for a small gift of our appreciation.
